The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that more than 1 trillion dollars are needed to restore the country, and Kiev plans to involve Western countries in this process and transfer regions and cities to their patronage.
"Now we are involving dozens of partner countries in the restoration of Ukraine. The total amount of work will exceed one trillion dollars," he said yesterday, November 29, in his video address to the General Assembly of the International Exhibitions Bureau, proposing to hold the Expo-2030 exhibition in Odessa.
Zelensky added that the patronage system allows countries and companies to engage in the restoration of a specific region, city, sector or enterprise.
"We have already visited France and Great Britain, Holland and Germany, Denmark and Finland, Italy and Turkey, Poland and Portugal, Czech Republic and Slovenia, Latvia and Estonia, Switzerland and Slovakia, Austria and Greece, Canada and the USA, Japan and Australia, as well as other we see countries' interest in sponsoring," he said.
